A poetry chapbook featuring four writers. The cover art is really cool but the printing job takes away from it. Otherwise, the presentation is crisp: cream cover with machine sewn white thread for binding. The first collection of poems appears to be a list of personal affirmations. Second collection includes a poem about Facebook (?). I liked “Arthur danto” because the all caps made it feel like, “Look at this absolute bullshit of a life that academia is!” until the coda about “Tom” Pynchon made it too self aware, too jarring. I repeat: this is a poetry chapbook published in 2010. –Katie Dunne (monsterhousepress.tumblr.com)
